The art I create is a reflection of a lifetime of practice, study and distilled experiences — inspired by the organic technology of nature, ancient mythologies, and the infinite complexity of the tryptamine trance state.

Born in Turkey, raised in Australia, schooled in both fine art and cinema — Hakan Hısım found that formal education stifled the very thing it claimed to nurture. It was in the esoteric traditions, alchemy, and the mystery schools that his true education began.
